Makeover Your Potato Chip :: Kale Chips

If you are looking for a healthy alternative to the ever addicting potato chip.  Look no further. Our friend and healthy chef extraordinaire, Chef Ursula Rafer has the solution, Kale Chips!

Made from fresh Kale, a leafy green vegetable similar to spinach, Kale Chips are low in calories and loaded with vitamins.  The nutrient rich snack can be seasoned with a variety of spices. So whether you are craving salt, spice, cheese or even chocolate! you can season accordingly.

To make this good for you snack at home follow Chef Ursula’s simple recipe below.

Kale Chips

Directions:
Peel leaves from center stalks and toss stalks in freezer to make stock later
Place leaves on parchment lined pan.
Spray leaves lightly with oil mist and then top with a lil of your choice:
Salt, Parmesan Powder, Red Pepper, Curry Powder, Mustard Powder, etc
Bake at 350 degrees until crisp about 8-10 min
